With many gardens left isolated and untended to, 7 spheres will pledge to create greener homes with nicer looking gardens. Many elderly homes have a vast garden space which has not been cared for. 7 spheres will go to these places, plant greenery and remove any shrubs and dirt. This will not only encourage the elderly and create a nicer atmosphere, but will also be a visual representation of the art the children will draw. The little drawing studio will bring together a group of children (aged 3+ and 6+), navigating them through various garden scenes to draw. There will be 30 workshop art sessions for the children to draw. Between every three sessions we will give them a tour and a chance to take photographs of the gardens with a professional photographer. 15 sessions will be for children aged 3+ and another 15 sessions will be for those aged 6+. We will also be running sessions for those with special needs - we will be doing drawings sessions, workshops and exhibitions to engage them.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
Lockdown was such a shock to the community, especially those very young and elderly. The growth of toddlers and young children was stunted, with lack of communication and exposure to other children along with the elderly facing many months alone, this project will aim to re-engage and create a greener, fun and creative community.
