My project focuses on the need to create an accessible leisure space for dissadvantaged children, adults and dementia sufferers in the community. This will be a space for them to relax and exercise.

Why it's a great idea:
I run my own business and i am registered disabled and so is my sister. We have struggled with many challenges being disabled and therefore i feel we have a real insight into the various needs of the disabled and dissadvantaged. My idea is to use our knowledge as well as the knowledge of other organisations to benefit those that really need it in the community.
Steps to get it done:
A little about me? I own a listed building which i have renovated over a period of 17 years. It has been difficult at times and as a lone woman who has been disabled the last 10 years more and more challenging. I am proud of what i have acheived. I started from nothing and fell upon the building and because someone saw i had the passion to make it work, they gave me the opportunity nobody else would.
