This project aims to offer a space for photographers to learn composition, processing film, and printing - the entire photo life-cycle. It will be aimed at school-aged children. A series of after-school/weekend classes to introduce the fundamentals of film photography. This will generate new sales, offer income aside from that of the usual professional and amateur/hobbyist market which already exists. Furthermore, it will also be active in the film community by offering gallery space for photographers to sell their work and introduce them to local events to offer their services. Processing will also be available for individuals who do not wish to do so themselves. Scans and prints will also be available.

What we'll deliver:

  • Dynamic photography community in Ealing
  • Teaching children a new skill

Why it's a great idea:

Aside from the benefits of learning a new skill, this will instill an entrepreneurial spirit. Students will learn how to sell their work, negotiate rates for photographing local events and marketing, both online and print.

Steps to get it done:

  • Buying equipment
  • Organising Events
  • Covering first event
  • Open gallery of work
