The tea dances provide a small net work of support for families in the local area, everyone can feel at ease in this non judgmental setting. Everyone joins in with the singing, dancing and sometimes playing instruments themselves, we then enjoy light refreshments where people talk, share stories and experiences, many new friendships have formed from these dances which helps relive the burden to other families that they are not alone

What we'll deliver:

  • We will be able to continue holding these events
  • Will pay towards musician costs
  • Will prove new instruments rather then my sons old toys!
  • Will pay towards local business that donate food as they themselves are struggling in these current

Why it's a great idea:

Our tea dances bring so much joy and pleasure to families affected by dementia, it’s all about making a difference.

Steps to get it done:

  • Our aim is to support local people living with dementia and their families.
  • To provide new instruments for people to join in with the musicians
  • To continue to receive light refreshments giving people time to enjoy other peoples company

Please come along to one of our dances and see the difference it makes to people living in our community from all walks of life
