Join the movement to create, fund and deliver local projects that make a difference in Doncaster!
1) Weekly walks to encourage better overall mental and physical health. To reduce the possibility of prolonged isolation. 2) Outbound telephone support – for example befriending calls providing reassurance and companionship, and practical advice and signposting. 3) Online networking – Facebook communities and online social gatherings which could include, for example but not restricted to, coffee mornings, quizzes, bingo, exercise, yoga, singing and knitting which provide enrichment and enjoyment. 4) Support by post – to reach people who are not online. This can include messages of support from the CCO and club & local contacts. 5) Face to face conversations – Staff and volunteers having socially distanced conversations with clients ‘at the garden gate’.
