A mobile pop up ping pong cafe serving refreshments and free ping pong. All equipment provided. Regular tournaments with prizes from local businesses who can sell their produce from the ping pong cafe. Also to have free tables placed along the sea front for people to use. Ideally four tables in one spot like an arena with ample seating for spectators.

The benefits that this project will bring are: 1. Ping pong is scientifically proven to have a positive effect on mental health and well being. 2. Promote social interaction 3. Creating a healthy space where new friendships can be forged 4. A sense of community for people. 5. Free ping pong 6. It will bring members of the community closer together and inspire them to lead more active and sociable life styles, irrespective of age, ability or background.

VolunteerSport, music and good food are three things I am very passionate about.
I have recently moved back to Swansea having lived in brighton for some years where there are outdoor ping pong tables in and around the city and along the sea front where people meet to play ping pong, music and share good food.
I have seen the positive impact this has had on the community of brighton.
It is my mission to bring free social ping pong to Swansea.
