"Speakeasy on the streets" will bring Sunderland's city centre to life, with a trail of augmented reality performances to visitors to find. Think Pokemon Go but with dancers! Speakeasy is a nostalgic tribute to the golden age of Hollywood, a dance spectacular, set in the roaring twenties, that energises audiences with its fusion of swing, contemporary and hip hop. Originally designed for conventional theatres, we want to unleash the energy of Speakeasy onto the streets of Sunderland. We'll work with professional dancers and community groups to create the performances, capture them digitally and create a trail around the streets of Sunderland for everyone to enjoy, whenever they want.

What we'll deliver:

• Work with community dance groups and dance students to create the choreography
• Capture the performances for an augmented reality trail
• Install the augmented reality around the streets of Sunderland
• Launch the trail and gather feedback
