The fashion show is organised by BA 2nd and 3rd year students of Textile Design at London Metropolitan University and is supposed to bring people from across the field together to create a great show!

The students exhibiting will be from the Future Fashion studio, who were looking at the current problems in fashion and proposing future solutions, either in terms of materials, designs or production.

What we'll deliver:

• book models
• hire a space, furniture, and tech equipments
• hire panels to showcase students work that will not appear on the catwalk
• invite people from the industry

Why it's a great idea:

Fashion show is a great opportunity for student to showcase their work and many times kick off their careers, as this is where many of the collections are bought by fashion houses and students are approached with job offers. This is going to be the first catwalk organised by our university and we believe that our talented students deserve this chance. Further more we are getting involved people from different courses from our university, for example photography, jewellery, fashion marketing, or events management to give them an opportunity to gain experience that would help them in the future progression.

Steps to get it done:

• engage students from our university
• small teams will be in charge of different tasks, e.g. room booking, inviting people, booking models
• collaborate with Fashion Business Society and the Student Union to secure premises
