Through our cricket sessions, we hope that young people get out of the vicious cycle of drugs, gangs, and violence. These are very real issues that we face, and as mentioned, things will improve only through education of young people. It is also, fundamentally, a place to play cricket. Having already established links within the Warwickshire Cricket Board, we intend for our talented kids to gain the exposure that their talents deserve.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
The young people will benefit tremendously. Without wanting to sound repetitive, our local area will benefit hugely, if our young people are educated. Sessions of the nature that we intend to carry out will keep the kids out of trouble, and it will keep them active. The inspiration behind our project is the kids, and for their welfare, I think it is important that these sessions come into fruition.
