The Storrs Wood Jack O lantern spectacular was an event we ran last year in the Storrs Wood Woodland Gallery and it was a fantastic success for us with over 600 visitors on the weekend and a huge amount of positive feedback and we would like to run the event again this year.
The Event will be held on the 27th and 28th of October 2018. The event is a free to enter event in witch we ask members of the public to carve pumpkins for display within the woodland gallery. The pumpkins are then lit up in the woods for people to view and enjoy. The mixture of Stone art, carved pumpkins and the incredible woodland venue made the last event incredibly special and this is why we would love to host it again this year.
What we'll deliver:

- An event that encourages creativity.
- an event that get people into the countryside
Why it's a great idea:
The Storrs Wood Jack O lantern spectacular is a great idea because:
• Its a free event in the heart of the Outdoor City that anyone can enjoy
• It encourages children and people of all ages to get creative and do something they wouldn’t normally do
• Once all the pumpkins are carved and in place it is an incredible sight to see that was created by the community.
•the woodland gallery location has tracks suited to everyone and is made to be as accessible as possible.
