Construction of a ramp at St Peter's Eaton Square, London SW1

This welcoming and inclusive church in SW1 hosts a wide range of community groups and events, including pre-school playgroups, charity events and concerts. There is currently no level access to the church and hall. We have planning permission for a ramp to provide safe and easy access for wheelchair users, visitors with buggies etc. The design is sensitive to the building and surrounding area, respecting heritage restrictions. The stone facing, metalwork and new planting will reflect the architecture of the church and churchyard, complementing the Grade II listed building. The local community have raised funding for design and planning and we have £15,000 for construction, which will cost £70,000. So there is a gap to fill! Any donation, no matter how small, will help. The charity's official name is THE PAROCHIAL CHURCH COUNCIL OF THE ECCLESIASTICAL PARISH OF PIMLICO ST PETER WITH WESTMINSTER. Its registered charity number is is 1133033 and donations are eligible for Gift Aid.
