The club needs your help in funding essential wicket maintenance and repair of our roller. Over the last 5 years your club committee has worked tirelessly to bring the club back from the brink of folding. The club decided that we could not expect our members to pay subs for 2020. This has left the club in a difficult position. The wicket needs urgent maintenance over the closed season and the roller is out of action. This is going to cost approx. £3000 and we simply do not have the funds. 2020 was meant to be our year of growth, starting with a positive balance, an amazing colts section at winter nets, plans for new a new net facility and quotes in to renovate the wicket. Then COVID happened. Despite this, we've still managed to coach, get some colts games and some senior games in too. With your support we've managed to keep the club going. We now need you help again. Please support us in keeping SRKSCC going, working together to make 2021 our most successful season yet.

What we'll deliver:

  • Cricket square will be prepped for Winter
  • Cricket square properly prepared for the 2021 season
  • Square roller repaired or replaced.

Why it's a great idea:

In order to bring the club back to it's former glory we've had to cut back over the last 5 years to balance the books. The club wicket has suffered as a result. Our committed members and most importantly our players deserve a wicket that is flat, fast consistent and encourages player development. With full funding this can be delivered and all players, from our youngest colts, the 1st XI will benefit.

Steps to get it done:

  • Wicket is prepped for winter
  • Wicket is prepared for the 2021 season
  • Wicket roller is back in action

We know we've asked a lot from you during 2020 and we really appreciate your continued support. Please help us make 2021 our best year yet.
