The festival is organised for the Community by volunteers and only a few minute's walk from Norwood Junction station. The event also allows local charities to raise. SNCF 2017 has a fun zone, music of all kinds, food of every description, and a varied programme of events throughout the week. SNCF 2017 builds on last year's successful festival in the park with local legends Ruby Red, Bram Stokers, Ten Tonne Ska and Famous Last Words, along with another dozen or so bands who all performing for free on the main stage. There is also a kids zone, performance area, arts and crafts stalls, a wide variety of food and of course a beer tent. This event is only possible through sponsors and public donations. This festival is for EVERYONE, it's free, and it's friendly.

What we'll deliver:

  • Upgrade the size of the main and equipment
  • Enhance the childrens zone with art and entertainment
  • Pay for a professional larger beer tent
  • Increase crowd numbers permitted in the park by licence and insurance.
  • Pay for St John Ambulance, barriers, signs and other mandatory safety

Why it's a great idea:

This is a great event because it is free to attend, free to see live bands and free to see performers. It brings all of the community together while allowing everyone to have fun and a great day!

Steps to get it done:

  • Booking of park and Council services
  • Booking of stage, generators and 100 fence panels
  • Start safety documents and insurance quotes
  • Booking of St John Ambulance
  • Booking of Council official health & safety officer
  • Booking of security team
  • Completion of all safety documents and risk assessments
  • Final check of park safety before open day

It will bring together prople of all ages to see free live music and arts.
