Hi there my name is Rich and i am trying to setup a community fm station. We aim to take on volunteers of all ages, religions, genders and also people with disabilities. We will play everything from the 80's to the current chart songs plus a weekend dance and country show. We need funding for Rent Equipment Advertising Jingles Furniture We could do this on as low as £7000 but ideally need £10,000 to enable us to secure our first year. In our first year we aim to do 2 R.S.L's (30 Day FM Trial). All Funders and investors will get free advertising on the radio, website and leaflets plus fundraising events.

Why it's a great idea:

In the area we will broadcast from Stonehouse there is nothing at all apart from a few shops and a community center that only ever gets used for private functions or library use. We will advertise other charities and community groups free of charge on our website and radio shows. It will bring cheap advertising to the local areas and give the community a new feature in which they can share the choice of music and there own talents.
