Skipton Cricket Club already have a successful junior section with 8 teams covering the age groups of 8-18. In order to inspire even more youngsters and fulfil the demand for cricket, the Club is expanding to offer additional programmes for boys and girls from 5 years up to 11 years old. AllStars (ages 5-8) and Dynamos cricket (ages 8-11) offers the chance for the Club to embrace an ECB programme targeting youngsters who may not previously have played the game but would like to try it out. We welcome the opportunity to bring in new kids from Skipton and the wider Craven area to show them what a fantastic sport Cricket is and how much fun it can be. To help facilitate the programme, we are seeking funding support to train new volunteer coaches and to put on an exciting welcome event at the outset of the programme.

What we'll deliver:

  • We will deliver an exciting programme aligned with the new ECB Hundred competition
  • Recruit and train new support coaches / activators
  • * Put on a AllStars and Dynamos welcome event for Parents and participants

Why it's a great idea:

Health, wellbeing and enjoyment to all participants. A chance for parents to relax and/or enjoy themselves in the company of their children and new friends. For some, the start of a lifelong love of a wonderful sport.

Steps to get it done:

  • * We will deliver an exciting programme aligned with the new ECB Hundred competition
