Supporting communities to crowdfund for projects which matter to their neighbourhood.
Currently the cricket club is run down and dull! This project would enable the club to attract more members both young and old! We are currently working with artists to improve the vibrancy of the site and hope that with the planting, artworks, subsequent wildlife and increased interest in the club would not only boost the long term goals of the cricket club but re-engage the community as well as boost the local economy through events and community projects at the club which currently is difficult due to the uninspiring nature of the ground. We are looking to plant trees and shrubs that promote bio-diversity and at the same time inviting local children's groups and schools to bury memory boxes and time capsules to again invigorate the wider community its and hopefully show that the club is not only forward thinking but a future jewel in the crown of the area!
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
This is a way of engaging with every demographic of society and people of all interest backgrounds regardless of faith or race. Not only does the club and community benefit but the environment and wild life too. Once this project is complete it will bring player,'a supporters, events and booking's into the community organisation (silksworth Cricket Club) and therefor money into our local economy.
