We needed a means of telling the annual million plus passers-by on the main York to Scarborough Trunk Road what is on in Malton. We went for vergeside permanent platforms to carry event specific banners. Despite blanket resistance by Highways authorities the Planners were finally persuaded of the attention to safety concerns, and the signs and sites have been approved.
Text will be large and simple referring only to date and event, and arrangements have been made and guarantees given that servicing of the sites will not invlove parking on the highway or verge
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
It is a common sense and straightforward way of making contact those who would pass us by.
The kit is easy to fabricate and erect.
Finding sites is reasonably straightforward .
Getting Planning permission is the major hurdle.
You must attend to all safety concerns, however adsurd they might seem.
Having got planning, erection and maintenance is easy.
Ongoing maintenance is inexpensive and the need will always exist.
Steps to get it done:
The unique aspect of this project is the achievement of planning permission against all the odds. Our signs will be legal and controlled.
