We would like to have a new security fence installed, a new picnic area and climbing frame along with scientific research tools and equipment that the children can learn from regarding weather, climate and control. storage unit to allow us to store equipment safely and securely. to purchase a poly tunnel in which we can grow flowers to enable us to hold Florestry workshops, we would like to remove some soil which is contaminated with asbestos and replace with clean topsoil which will allow our volunteers to continue gardening activities. Cctv cameras in the car park area of which our volunteers use. Tools wheelbarrows, gloves, boots, hi vis and safety equipment for all the volunteers and members of the Shepway Shallots. Raised flower beds and gardening ornamentals for our wild meadow area. Funding to help with a new chicken pen for our community chickens. Shepway Chariots Community garden has become a hub in the Shepway area, we supply fresh fruit and vegetable to the residents in and around of Shepway for Free. We provide a platform for making new friends, reduce social isolation and encourage an active life style. We have many local families and individuals who attend our garden along with organisations such as NCS, scouts and local schools.
