We're producing our 2021 series of The Live Room dedicated to discovering and showcasing local artists. The Live Room platforms recognised and emerging talent with thousands of people across London and the world. This year The Live Room is ever so meaningful especially now as we are practising social distancing and isolation. The Live Room creates a sense of belonging and participation. It is one of the antidotes to the growing sense of alienation and isolation in society in general. We share music as a social medicine for soothing anxiety, encouraging local talent and acting in defiance as a threat to our spirits.
We have created a new programme that's taking London by storm. We want to provide opportunities for all musicians to perform on 'The Live Room'. This performance includes footage of the artist performing in an intimate, live studio. There will also be a network of music industry professionals while at The Live Room encouraging, coaching and believing in local talent!
What we'll deliver:

Why it's a great idea:
Support from you will really allow us to work with outstandingly talented musicians at the start of their careers. We aim to work(s) with around 480 musicians each year, providing over 4000 performance opportunities.
Our show The Live Room is not just another music show, firstly our aims are always to showcase and support UK talent, with your funding it will allow us to really provide opportunities to really enhance many UK musicians as we possibly can. We truly believe the power of singing and music to be most important. Our focus is to connect our audience to our performers, in world-class ways.

Why is The Live Room different?
We believe most people have their own preference for the type of music they enjoy listening to, yet each culture can agree that music is an important part of life expressing ourselves. When we appreciate the art form of music, it makes it easy to unite and relate to others who are different than ourselves. When we listen to a song or voice it can take us back to a certain memory or feeling we once had.
