lyttelton playing fields, N2

By Adam Bass
We would like to put on two performances of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night at Lyttelton Playing Fields Amphitheatre
Sorry this project was unsuccessful, we did not reach our fundraising goal.
Lyttelton Playing Fields Amphitheatre is a great venue for Shakespeare, it can seat 150 people comfortably and has fantastic natural acoustics. After a challenging year for theatre I am excited to put on a special community-focused Shakespeare performance - there will be a portion of free tickets set aside for the community. The event plans to form part of the Barnet Summer of Fun. I managed the production of Romeo and Juliet that performed three sell-out nights in 2013 and this production is by the same theatre company. Please support our crowdfunding campaign if you can - just £2 will help me to put on these performances, and hopefully summer Shakespeare can become an annual community event!
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
This will a fun performance of a great play. At a time when we have all been cooped up, it is time to enjoy a spectacle of theatre and entertainment. The venue is perfect for those who are looking to re-establish their connection to the theatre. We will sell interval drinks and create a wonderful environment.
Steps to get it done:
We have done this before and it was a great success so we are looking to repeat the experience.
