The Oak Therapies Sensory Garden is a transformative community project aimed at creating an inclusive, therapeutic outdoor space. This garden is meticulously designed to engage all the senses, featuring aromatic plants, textured pathways, and interactive installations that stimulate sight, sound, touch, and smell. Accessible to people of all ages and abilities, the garden will serve as a sanctuary for individuals with sensory processing disorders, autism, and other special needs, offering them a place to relax and explore in a safe environment. It will also provide a serene retreat for the broader community, promoting mental health and well-being. Beyond its therapeutic benefits, the garden will be a hub for social interaction and community engagement. It will host a variety of activities, including therapeutic sessions, educational programs, and community events, fostering a sense of connection and belonging among residents.
