WE ARE A LOCAL VENUE LOOKING TO UPGRADE SOME OF OUR OLD FACILITIES SO THAT THE LOCAL COMMUNITY CAN CONTINUE TO ENOJY THE ARTS IN THERE LOCAL ARE WITH OUT THIS HELP THIS VENUE MAYBE LOST.

WE ARE LOOKING TO UPGRADE OUR KITCHEN AND BOILER TO HELP REDUCE OUR COSTS AND HELP THE ENVIRONMENT WITH A MORE ECO FRIENDLY BOILER AND HELP REDUCE WASTE OF HEAT AND ENERGY FROM OUR BUILDING. THE NEW BOILER AND KITCHEN WOULD HELP ENSURE THAT THE BUILDING IS KEPT WARM IN THE WINTER SO OUR PATRONS CAN CONTINUE TO USE THE CENTER ALL YEAR ROUND AND HAVE ACCESS THE ARTS IN THE LOCAL AREA.

THIS PROJECT IS A GREAT IDEA IS IT WILL CONTINUE TO HELP THE LOCAL PEOPLE HAVE A LOCAL ARTS VENUE. THIS SPACE IS USED BY THE YOUNG AND OLD AND HOUSES THE LOCAL AMATURE PANTOMIME SOCIETY WHO HAVE BEEN PERFORMING IN THE VILLAGE FOR NEARLY 50 YEARS. WITH OUT THIS VENUE THE LOCAL TRADITION THAT HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR YEARS MAY END. THIS WOULD BE A MASSIVE DISASTER OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY AND ITS TRADITIONS.

VolunteerTHE SEATON DELAVAL ARTS CENTRE IS CHAIRTY ORGANISATION RAN COMPLETLEY BY VOULUNTEERS. THE VENUE HAS BEEN RUNNING SINCE 2007. THIS WAS AFTER THE LOCAL PANTOMIME SOCIETY WAS KICKED OUT OF ANOTHER VENUE AND HAD NO HOME. THIS MENT THE SOCIETY NEEDED A HOME AND THEN DECIDED TO BUY THE OLD SALVATION ARMY HALL. THE VENUE WAS NEEDING A LOT OF WORK AND WITH THE HELP OF A LOT OF VOLUNTEERS THE VENUE OPENED IN DECEMBER 2007 READY FOR THE LOCAL PANTOMIME.
