This Social Enterprise is to stop development of greenbelt land that has been described as 'the lungs of Bridgwater' by our own council, the same council that has now sold some of this land to developers who plan to build 120 residential homes on it.

There has been many who have objected to this development.  Over 550 people signed an Online petition whilst others have written formal objections.  Many also believe the 'Eco Park' being offered by the developers is just a smoke-screen to cover up other developments that are planned for this area.  You can view the Online petition and sign it if you wish via this link.

Our council has decided to go ahead with this development in spite of the fact that the legality of this development has been challenge.  The land which is to be built on was never incorporated in the 'Core Strategy' for the Sedgemoor area and although this point has been raised with the council they have decided that this fact is not worthy of their attention.

In order to fight against this development we need funds to pay for a Judicial Review.  We desperately need help so please give anything you can afford, even if it is only £1.00
