Bringing the annual festival forward into 2018

Began the annual festival 4 years ago and it has grown in popularity as it showcases emerging musical talent that chimes in with what the local community would like to hear. We have undertaken surveys of local residents in collaboration with local primary schools to discover what they would like to hear. More 'world music' has been highlighted and we have presented Chinese music, klezmer concerts and other world music events together with Jazz, classical, brass band and folk. However, our income is very low as we charge very small amounts for local people to attend (high numbers of unemployed, pensioners, low income earners and students in Nether Edge & Sharrow areas of Sheffield).
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
Brings local musicians and the local community together in a unique way
Steps to get it done:
The Delphi Trust has no reserves and has been entirely devoted to supporting live musical performance and associated educational projects since 1999. We have no paid employees and run totally on our own voluntary efforts. Our income is 100% devoted to supporting the annual festival.
