We want to help communities to secure the funding they need to get fibre broadband in their area
We have been working with BT Community Fibre to upgrade the cabinet at Rose Green to Fibre. The will be jointly funded by BT Openreach and the community. The cost to the community is £24381 - but 57 households have applied for better broadband vouchers which will bring our shortfall down to £4431.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
When the fibre broadband cabinet has been connected at Rose Green it becomes part of the permanent infrastructure of the village. The 97 properties that are connected to the Rose Green exchange will be able to subscribe to superfast broadband (minimum 24Mbps - possibly 60+Mbps depending on the distance to the cabinet) from a multitude of commercial providers.
