Elena is a Director, Writer, Producer and Drama Practitioner. As a Greek Cypriot she loves storytelling and is passionate about politics, people, culture, traditions, and different art forms. She graduated from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in summer 2021 and with her immense amount of dedication she was fortunate enough to be the only member of her class to receive a 1st class degree. Her studies allowed her to gain plenty of experience working with diverse groups of people and a variety of Theatre Companied. From schools to elderly communities, Open Theatre to Birmingham Rep. Equality, equity and diversity are important aspects in all her work. She is a member of the Young Vic’s Gensis Network and has worked at The Old Rep Theatre, Regents Park Theatre, Kiln Theatre and Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre. Her love for the arts, studies and theatre experience will influence the way she runs, produces, and leads this project. Furthermore, with 5 years of devising experience, she is confident about being able to successfully Direct this show and create a spectacle. As well as working closely with all her team, to help them develop their craft and gain/practise the skills necessary for them to advance professionally.
