Revelations is a new play written by Saoirse D Byrne that is being Directed and Produced by Applied Theatre Graduate, Elena Yianni. It is a project that has brought 15 early/emerging artists from diverse backgrounds together to collaborate and stage this unorthodox, compelling, avant-garde production. Each one of the cast and crew creating this play are here to develop their craft, get experience in the role they love and work together to tell this important story/ raise awareness of an overlooked issue. We are hoping and likely to stage the production at FUSE Festival from July 1st to July 10th in Kingston Upon Thames as well as having a 2 day preview at Brighton Fringe.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
Artist Development- All creatives will learn and develop their craft, network and get professional experience. The Show- We will raise awareness about an important issue in the show that will encourage a change. As a diverse group with the majority under 27, this is a great opportunity for us to represent people like us. The Director is also very well connected within the theatre community and can provide connections for her team, give them information on next steps after this show and other ways they can develop their skills for their chosen career.
