We want to be in a position to play cricket when the Covid restrictions are relaxed. We will need to cover our ongoing costs, effect improvements to the grounds and buy essential equipment.

With little or no cricket happening in 2020, virtually all our sources of income have dried up. However ongoing costs continue and we are still looking to complete work on our ground. Our home made pitch covers did not last the winter and need replacing. We had hoped to obtain help from the ECB but Covid has meant that all funds are being used to cover costs for Clubs around the country. We will still need effective covers if we are to restart cricket this season or in 2021
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
The club aims to provide the most welcoming environment in south Warwickshire for every age gender and ability of player and their supporters, to enjoy the wonderful sport of cricket in our delightful surroundings. we currently have over 300 members of the Club including 137 registered juniors, of which 85 are under the age of 13. We run junior softball, from ages 5-11, junior hardball; form ages 10 to 17, a growing women and girls section, playing both softball and hardball, 2 Saturday league teams and a Sunday friendly team form the one ground. We had 63 junior matches between 1st May 2019 and 23rd July and hosted over 40 adult games including ones for Warwickshire Disability and Warwickshire Over 70s cricket. We therefore need our ground to be in the best condition that it can be at all times.
Steps to get it done:
We see over 200 people at our ground on our Friday night Junior training sessions.
