To find a suitable location, the previous site would be amazing if viable, to build a new lido for Surbiton and Berrylands. The area is severely lacking in well maintained outdoor swimming facilities unlike our neighbours in Hampton and Richmond which have Hampton Outdoor Pool and Pools in the Park respectively.

What we'll deliver:

  • To conduct a feasibility study to see if the project is viable.

Why it's a great idea:

There are many residents in Surbiton, Berrylands, Tolworth and surrounds who remember swimming in Surbiton Lido. It would be amazing to build another lido for current and future generations to use. The pool would be modelled on Hampton Pool, open all year round, and could be used by local schools and perhaps be linked with Surbiton Racket and Fitness Club.
