2. We are a new charity created in Wales 1171963 working in the care of victims of human trafficking and modern slavery; orphan and abandoned children and women who are victims of wars in the Democratic republic of Congo. In other words we are working for the prevention or relief of poverty in the Democratic Republic of Congo by providing or assisting in the provision of education, training, housing , healthcare projects and all the necessary support designed to enable individuals to generate a sustainable income and be self-sufficient. We have started a project named: ''Modern UK Academy/DRC Campus''. This project is to building an English school for orphan and abandoned children/youth to get free basic skills of English , so that when they grow up they can be able to work instead of dreaming to travel abroad...
What we'll deliver:
- Care and feed orphan , abandoned and homeless children/youth by building schools and dormitories in DRC
- Hire an office and buy an equipment in Wales
- Organising meetings and reimburse volunteers expenses in Wales
- Organizing ESOL/TEFL trainings for volunteers teachers every month in Wales
- Settle a website and create more leaflets
- Create paid jobs such as General manager, volunteer coordinator, Head Teacher , Receptionist etc.
Why it's a great idea:
It is a great ideas because children are our future in the world and we need to protect them. It is a great ideas because it will create more volunteers jobs in Wales and DRC as well as creating the partnership between the two countries.Finaly, it is a great ideas because it will break or stop the massive coming of young people from Congo to Europe by creating more opportunities for them to get free access to education....
Steps to get it done:
- Once we get funding the first thing to do is to hire and buy an office equipment then start to recruit volunteers
- Organizing trainings and meetings regularly
- Build a charity website and create leaflet
In brief, A) In UK we are
- recruiting volunteers teachers , administrators and their expenses,
-hire an office and buy equipment
-organising ESOL and TEFL trainings every month
- making leaflets and opening a website and pay it
- creating jobs such as general manager, receptionist etc.
B) In DRC we will have
- 2 paid posts for Head teacher and the vice-head teacher for all the schools and local teachers .
- Build the schools in 6 classes and buy all the necessities
- Build a dormitory in order to gather all these children and feed, cloth and care them every day....
