To make exercise accessible to everyone free of charge, the idea is to install calisthenics equipment in Mowbray Park. This would include pull-up bar and dip bar as a minimum. Nothing beats working outdoors, especially in the summer. If successful, and depending on funds, could install equipment in other parks in Sunderland. Could also install a circuit system with different exercise stations spaced out along a 1km route (in Barnes Park maybe).
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
Free exercise equipment for everyone to use and enjoy. Help people get stronger, lose weight and make friends.
Steps to get it done:
Will need the support of the Council.
