Our company is called Power'd. We are a social enterprise who provides various projects for the community. Our company is dedicated to youth and community development. Our primary objectives are the enrichment of the social well-being of the community as well as working to increase employability by building inter-relationship between the local communities.
We engage the youth in positivity and help them understand the purpose of life and the benefits of living as a good civil citizen of the society. We also work with the H2R's (Hard to Reach) as well as NEET's (Not in Education Employment Training).

We engage with our clients by designing and developing bespoke programs to attract, engage, and interact through social events and recreational avenues.
We have recently worked with Southwark Council to arrange various projects within the borough to engage and build networks with the local community.

What we'll deliver:

  • A 8-a-side league of 45 games per season.
  • Each team has a chance to win up to £1000
  • 10 teams per league
  • All games officiated by FA qualified Referees
  • Squad of 11 players making it 110 players within the league

Why it's a great idea:

Sports is a daily part of every young person's life and if we can get our youth actively exercising and fit, whilst also keeping them off the streets, then we have done our part for the community. We also thrive in bringing all various parts of different communities together. In many communities there is a divide, PSFL will allow many differences to be put aside for the love of the game and directly and indirectly create harmony within the local community.
The main aims of the project will be to bring together young people within the community to do something engaging whilst keeping them off the streets and channelling their energy positively.

Steps to get it done:

  • PSFL will unite and bring together communities all over London
  • We will work with a sports agency to give opportunities to young talent to become professional football players.
  • We will work with Southwark Council to make this project a growing success.!
  • We will provide employment opportunities with Power'd for the local community

We also aim to develop their football and interpersonal skills which they can take onto their life careers. We also strive on encouraging sports activities at grass root level and to promote healthy living continuously. We have also been fortunate to have recently contacted a football agency who we have secured an agreement to scout young talents for future opportunities and take them to professional football clubs. This is a massive opportunity for local talents who don’t normally get the exposure, to be recognised and have the prospect of pursuing their childhood footballing dreams.

We have taken account of all cost associated with the league. For a season which runs weekly for 8 continuous months. The total cost including pitch hire, insurance, staffing and equipment will cost £26,067.50 for the season. Please assist to making a donation of any amount to help us reach our target.

Thank you in advance for your support and co-operation.
