Brasted Parish Council is currently raising funds to update the Playground for the younger children but hope to go on to add more activities for the older age group. The new Tennis and Basketball are great but a Zipwire would be fun and a great start to the next phase of development.

What we'll deliver:

• Install a Zipwire on the grass area between the playground and the river.

Why it's a great idea:

During our consultation to design the new playground this was mentioned again and again...by the Youth Club, Parents and lots of young people.

This might be the beginning of an area aimed at the older age group and could be expanded to include some seating, more robust and challenging equipment, a play wall and even some outdoor gym facilities.

We know there are many young children in the village who will soon ready to join that next age group and should be encouraged to enjoy a range of energetic and healthy activities.

Steps to get it done:

• We have already identified several specialist companies who can install this equipment.

We hope that the Brasted Community will support this fund -whether you are a local business, a village group, parent or grandparent.
