Inspired by www.popuphood.com, Ealing Broadway BID wants to turn our vacant high street units into soaring spaces that showcases the best retail, design, art and culture led activity going on in and around London.

The pop up shop will be a blank canvas, where carefully curated partners/innovators/collaborators will get 1-3 week tenancies to do something amazing in front of 200,000 people each week. We want to stand out from the crowd, do something brave and trial new ideas concepts that engage and excite people across ealiong, London and the rest of the world (eventually!).

What we'll deliver:

• Ongoing management/curation of programme
• Select tenants for first 6 weeks of exhibition
• Acquire 19 Bond Street, W5 5AA on a 6 month lease
• Create brand, facade treatment and website
• Restore interior to 'white box' standard, including electricity, internet access and bathroom facilities

Why it's a great idea:

The High Street is the natural hub for entrepreneurship, and just as some people are predicting its demise, we want to turn it into a hotbed of creativity. Here in Ealing, we are overflowing with innovative new ideas, talented people and enthusiastic partners and we think its a crime to let our high street property stand empty when we could use it to support talented people start up their dream business.
