We have started a group playing the bagpipes and drums within the community, we practice each week and play at charitable functions, weddings, funerals and fetes and parades. We have selected a traditional Scottish tartan of black Stewart, as our band kilt. We play music of the traditional Scottish style and endeavour to meet to publics requests.

Steps to get it done:

The band is a new band starting up in the local area of Retford. To be able to provide entertainment to the public, we require uniform so we can not just play the part but look the part. Our aim is to entertain at local events, grow in numbers therefore providing young people the opportunity to not only learn music by playing the bagpipes and drums, but to offer the experience by play within a group of individuals.
