We want to invite and encourage people from all backgrounds to come down to our studio to have a professional portrait taken free of charge, we would then ask them to tell us a story from their life. Our intention is to combine and print a large and diverse quantity of individual's photographs with their words and to then host a local public exhibition of which can open discussions to help people suffering with their mental wellness, to show that they are not alone and to encourage people to talk and express themselves.

What we'll deliver:

• Professional portraits - honestly captured and then printed.
• A positive step in the right direction for mental wellness
• A positive community project.

Why it's a great idea:

We will offer a safe place where people can go and express themselves in a creative way in order to help them with their own mental health, and to inspire others to to find mental wellness in their lives.

Steps to get it done:

• Advertise the project (spread the word on what we are doing with dates included)
• Project commences ( we have open sessions at the studio where people can come down to participate.
• Post production - portraits and words are elegantly combined, printed and mounted
• We announce the exhibition, invite all participants and beyond
• We hose the exhibition and the discussion begins
• We advertise and promote the exhibition, we can do a digital release of it too
• People are helped.

Mental wellness will improve individuals and therefor improve communities and ultimately society.
