At Positive Impact Foundation, we have level 3 qualified tutors who will educated and deliver tailored education plans to parents within the area who do not have any qualifications. Extensive community research has been undertaken, looking into the correlation between unemployment and lack of qualifications within Coventry. The results are obvious, and there is a huge need for adults to gain qualifications in order to be able to access employment. We have started to make community links with a family hub in Coventry where we are looking to run our Pathways project from. The community have taken to us fantastically and have been constantly asking when we will be starting Pathways. The only reason we haven't is due to lack of funding. The delivery of qualifications to parents will run alongside childcare at the same venue. While the adults are learning, our staff will engage the children in sports, arts and crafts.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
The project will help to tackle unemployment, achieve potentials and increase self-esteem. While doing this, the adults children will also be cared for, in a safe and prosperous environment. Our initiative is to ensure boundaries are overcome, and people fulfill their full potential with our support. To know your children are safe and entertained, while you're gaining an education and tackling unemployability is potentially a once in a life time opportunity for some people.
