To develop a website that allows young people to find all the opportunities, jobs, events, clubs, youth groups etc in their area, personalised just for them.

Young people will be able to sign in and access their account, with recommended activities. Organisations that offer services to young people will be on there and young people can find out information and things to do to get out of the house! It might feel like a social media at first, but unlike Facebook, the aim is to get people off it as soon as possible, the quicker we can find what they need, the better. There are so many good opportunities in Sefton, but it's always about who you know and we want to change that so people who don't normally get those sort of chances see them 24/7!

Why it's a great idea:
The youth in Sefton can sometimes feel hopeless and bored. There are so many services providing great things but so little ways of finding out, this would be one centralised, fun place that would bring the community together. Run by young people, this website can help make the community feel as one, and it's hoped this will help tackle mental health and get people out of the house, volunteering, working, going to youth groups and just gaining more experience and having fun!

VolunteerI'm 17, living in Litherland and work as part of a small team called the "Youth Academy Group" who are developing a website to give young people better chances! I work for Sefton CVs as a Young Advisor and am currently studying A Levels.
I'm running this campaign to make my small difference and give back to a community that has given me so much. Sefton has provided me with so many opportunities that are unknown to so many and I just want everyone to have as much of a chance as I did.
