Open Halls Haringey will connect communities and community spaces, doing away with both the frustration of the space search and the missed opportunity of lost rental revenue for stewards of the spaces

Community spaces are the essential ingredient for communities to congregate. In Haringey, there are numerous spaces but many are difficult to find, and once located are often poorly described. This presents a hurdle to community congregation and represents a lost revenue opportunity to the often hard pressed groups who are steward of these spaces.
Open Halls Haringey will provide a simple ‘go-to’ online resource where stewards of local spaces in Haringey can present their space and local communities can easily find the right space. Each space will be described in a specified format to include all the essential information. In addition, a Google 'Street View' Inside tour will be created for each listed space to give potential purchasers the ultimate preview of what each space is like.
The project will fund listings and the cost of image creation for all community groups and subject to initial feedback will permit a limited amount of commercial listings at full commercial rates.
