The name was created as a portmanteau of the words New and Unique which is used as a creative’s identity i.e. Nunique talent or a Nunique idea. Nunique’s main aim is to stage an up-scaled expo event showcasing emerging creative and entrepreneurial talent in the UK and beyond. Nunique will launch a Talent Discovery Channel via YouTube and other digital platforms, scouring communities, engaging and interviewing cross-genre talent. Nunique aim to strengthen communities through creative enterprise by offering a platform for young people with creative ideas, particularly those at the risk of social exclusion. Nunique will launch its website, giving users a platform to expose their business ventures and brands. Nunique will be based in West London with an aim to work pan-London.

What we'll deliver:

  • An entertaining and exciting channel promoting young entrepreneurs
  • Interviews with established talents and role models in the community
  • Large scale event involving youth talent

Why it's a great idea:

This is a great idea because it feeds into the current culture of young people providing creative space, pop-up exhibitions and entertainment to the local community and beyond. The Nunique Expo is a positive idea bringing not only young people, but families and communities together in celebration of creative culture. The Expo will hold a mass amount of people all celebrating creative culture and emerging young talent. The project has huge potential, for example, via exhibiting creative pop-ups for young people such as cake stands and creative corners. Nunique aims to provide employment to experienced youth support workers or mentors who can guide young people who are in start up business. Nunique aims to target young people from excluded environments, providing social mobility and another route away from social exclusion.

Steps to get it done:

  • Launch Youtube channel
