We are a not for profit community project and we aim to raise awareness of mental health issues and to reduce stigma and promote healthy living. We wish to run a series of groups and events within North Hertfordshire and these will include some poetry and spoken words events in the community and some art groups and an art and photography exhibition for World mental health day in October in the North Hertfordshire region We can raise awareness of mental health illness and to reduce stigma and promote healthy living and need some funds to help run the events and groups and exhibition. This is mostly for room hire costs and travel expenses.

What we'll deliver:

• Art and photography exhibition
• Community groups
• Poetry groups

Why it's a great idea:

We will bring people with lived experience of mental health together to reduce loneliness and isolation and help people share their creative work to improve people's confidence and social skills. It will be a chance after lockdown to share experiences and relieve boredom and isolation. We can run poetry and spoken word events quarterly to begin with to bring creative people together and share our lived experience. The art and photography event for world mental health day in October in North Hertfordshire will celebrate the diversity within our community and champion individuals wishing to contribute. We are a creative project looking to raise awareness and support people reducing stigma and loneliness and isolation and give people a creative network. In the short term we will hold zoom meeting for creative people and work with other charities and we need some funds to help run the groups and events
