To have community ownership of a neglected parcel of land owned by the local authority. In doing so, create a vibrant space rich in wildlife, flora and fauna. The space will be somewhere the community can enjoy, relax and contribute towards. It's hoped that once established it would provide a relaxing, educational, fun outdoor space.

This space could bring physical and mental health benefits to those who use the space or take part in the activities. It could provide educational space for colleges and schools. Would be a relaxing getaway space for residents in the area as well as go to place for families with children, staff supporting the elderly or people with learning disabilities.

VolunteerWe are still a very new organisation and soon to be constituted and formed.
The idea to form a group came about after a location was being saught to find a place for a flight cage to help injured and orphaned bats learn to fly.
The land was suggested as a possible location and it was felt that there was so much potential on offer to create a wonderful place for the community to enjoy as well as help other local wildlife organisations release their wildlife too.
A Facebook group was created to see if the community had an interest in such an outdoor space and grew rapidly. With over 100 interested local people an interim committee was then formed to organise an open day to engage with the rest of the community. After this open day it's hoped that we can then form an official committee and have the support of the community.
