We are delighted to be in the process of taking over a building which will be used to deliver martial arts sessions, archery and general fitness for the community.

Our project will allow us to take over a building to be used to deliver sports sessions for the local community. The money we are raising will help us to refurbish the centre and add capital equipment items such as a sledge, treadmills, rowing machines as well as creating a space for a martial arts dojo. Your generous support will also go towards the general overheads and running costs of the building. This building will cater for the whole community and our aim is to create a legacy and to inspire everyone to commit to keeping fit and healthy, physically and mentally.

Why it's a great idea:
Our Martial Arts project will instil respect, resilience and discipline to everyone who becomes a part of the club. The sessions in our current facility have only been able to cater for juniors, but in the new building everyone will be able to benefit - men, women, boys and girls! Our archery club will instil focus, concentration and patience for the members. We will have many awards running and a coaching team with a decade of experience delivering the sport. There will be a strength and conditioning setup where the whole community will be able to benefit from improving their physical health and wellbeing. We recognise the needs of the community and there will be dedicated sessions for females which will be private to give them the necessary space they need to train.

VolunteerNature Warriors is a community group that was setup to encourage the community to become more active. Our aim is to provide oppoortunities both outdoors and indoors to improve the physical health and wellbeing of the community. Some of the services we have delivered include a little farmers project, food growing, horse riding as well as an indoor martial arts club.
