Hello my name is Rebecca part of the NCS Maldon Team (National Citizen Service) who also include Amy T, Amy C, Georgina, Autumn and Louise.

We will be doing community projects within the Maldon District which must be completed by the end of November (deadline given by the project manager of NCS). Our first community project will be providing homeless people in Maldon District with shoe boxes of essentials and a Christmas present to look forward to on Christmas day. Our second community project will be entertaining elderly people in retirement homes (Maldon District) with activities which includes bingo, gardening, quiz, movies and afternoon tea. Also we will be doing a tombola and making sure that they are using other services around them like: library cards and bus passes. For these projects to take place we need donations to buy the essentials; presents, gifts, tea, coffee, biscuits etc. Please would you donate to us, even if it is a small contribution, to your local area to benefit those in need.
