What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
Our workshops aim to intervene young people at an early stage, informing young people to the risks of knife crime as well as providing sign posting support. The creators of Narrative Empowerment Project workshop have lived experience of adversity and know how powerful it can be to tell your story and use it to inspire/motivate others within LBHF to make sure the community have a voice. We aim to reach high risk young people involved in gangs and serious youth violence, providing therapeutic outreach and practical support, placing a priority on building strong and trusting relationships. Through our work, we know the importance of early intervention, and helping young children feel connected to their communities and society. Our project aims to do exactly this - connecting at-risk children and those who work in the education sector through our virtual workshops.
