The whole space that NAF take over will be a movable interactive arts feast, with art in, on and around the rooms and walls. We will run arts workshops for the local community with internships and training and shadow roles for local young artists.We will create hot desk room for young artists to work from. We will offer studio and maker space in exchange for start ups and freelancers to give weekly free workshops to the community. We will run a surplus food kitchen and coffee space/barista training. We will run craft fairs, performances and community events from the space.

What we'll deliver:

• Hire artists and carpenters to run upcycling workshops to make all furniture for the arts hub with community groups
• Hire young local artists on living wage to facilitate the space
• Plant veg and fruit in the large balconies and in and around the office spaces.(and run food workshops)
• Run art, photogrpahy, pottery and poetry workshops then use the final art pieces on in and around the arts hub

Why it's a great idea:

It will transform our town centre. It will draw together our local community. It will give a cheap/free space for start ups and freelancers to try out thier ideas before taking the expensive leap to ge their own space. It will create links to colleges and job centres to enhance opportunities for arts and "making" based jobs and skills. It will be a beacon of light, art, joy, hope, loveliness for our neighbourhood and commmunities. it will give a home to our ongoing work. It will make that home an open, safe space for all.
