We want to see our towns grow and be vibrant communities supporting the local economy
The Rugby Football Museum presently houses a very small but unique collection of rugby artifacts and memorabilia, charting the history and development of the game. However we have discovered that only a small part of this rare and wonderful collection is on show. Their are hundreds if not thousands of additional artifacts and memorabilia that are yet to see the light of day, and with your help we aim to make these items available for all to view. We are therefore asking all supporters of our great game to help us realize this ambition. We understand that it is a big task and are therefore proposing to complete in stages.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
This project will deliver on a number of fronts: It will preserve some of the great history of the game. It will provide and educational facility for youngsters to learn about this game and its roots based in the town. It will enable us to display numerous artifacts, that have up until now been boxed away in storage. It will deliver a true destination venue for the town, one that will compliment the Hall of Fame. It will drive economic benefits to the town in the form of visitors and tourists alike. This is a great opportunity for us all to celebrate the birthplace of the game and advertise the towns heritage. So please get involved!
