The exciting opportunity of using Spacehive for your Lewisham project

Have you got a fantastic idea for a project that will transform Lewisham? Read on.

Spacehive is a crowdfunding platform for projects that enhance our shared spaces and civic experience. Lewisham Council have teamed up with Spacehive to help you realise your project and crowdfunding campaign with a £100k pot of funding. From regenerating your local playground to painting a community art mural, you'll see your idea spring to life quickly and easily.

What do I have to do?

• 1) Check your idea is eligible for Spacehive by referring to the eligibility tab

• 2) Create a Spacehive account and upload the basic shell of your idea. Make sure to Join the Lewisham Hive in your Dashboard > Tools > Join a Hive. The mere act of joining the Hive is an application for funding from Lewisham Council

• 3) Refine and complete your project page using the following resources, then submit for verification

• 4) Prepare you crowdfunding campaign using the following resources

• 5) Start crowdfunding, setting your crowdfunding dates to coincide with the council's next funding round (see this tab for more info). Harness as much community support for your idea in the form of pledges

• 6) Await a potential pledge from the council and keep crowdfunding until you hit your target!
