{{ 'About' | translate }} Ealing Together Fund

Our Ealing Together Fund aims to make the borough more resilient by supporting projects that are built on local knowledge, relationships and assets, empowering people that have the respect and trust of their community to take the lead. Whether you’re from Acton, Ealing, Greenford, Hanwell, Northolt, Perivale, Southall, we want to promote your projects, no matter how big or small. If you have an idea how to help your local community flourish, and it focuses on one or more of today’s challenges, whether it is the rising cost of living, climate change, income, health or educational inequalities or celebrating culture and diversity then this fund could help turn your idea into reality. There’s £50,000 fund on offer, with a maximum of £10,000 (up to 50% of campaign target) for crowdfunding projects. This fund can be used for capital items of the project with the pledges from the public covering the non-capital elements.

Help bring art to a community garden
Help bring art to a community garden joined Ealing Together Fund1 month ago

Access to art and green spaces transforms lives. We - The Dig's volunteer gardeners - will invite an artist to grow and create with us for 12 months. This will attract more weekly volunteers, foster community in Hanwell and deepen connections to nature through art. But we need your help to raise 6k in seed funding. Without this, we can't submit our larger grant applications to NLHF and Arts Council England. The Dig is a new organic community garden in Hanwell, a steadily urbanising part of Ealing. Filled with fruit trees, a polytunnel, kitchen and wood-working shed, it's an urban oasis bursting with potential. But if not maintained, we could lose this valuable local asset. Having an artist will attract more weekly volunteers: already, 5 local groups have expressed interest. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for an emerging artist. Attached with a generous budget, we invite them to develop their practice outdoors, with the seasons and with Hanwell.
