Mossley Hill CC aim to return to cricket as soon as community sport is permitted to restart. Unfortunately due to lockdown Mossley Hill CC has lost almost all of their income streams and need to raise funds to enable our ground to be safe, prepared and ready to play . As part of a community amateur sports clubs we aim to provide cricket for all of our current members, new members and their families to enjoy. To be able to do this we must be able to prepare our ground so that it is made safe and is prepared for cricket to start at short notice. This will have to be done without nearly all of our usual income streams and will cause Mossley Hill CC financial hardship. Unfortunately much of the expenditure needed to be ready for cricket will remain the same , with a limited time period to complete and finance the necessary tasks.

What we'll deliver:

  • Continue our renovation/improvements of sight-screens
  • repair winter wear and tear damage to the cricket outfield and make safe
  • prepare the cricket square ready for playing cricket at short notice
  • make cricket available to the entire local community

Why it's a great idea:

It will be of benefit to the well-being of our current members, new members and the wider local community after the difficult times of the social distancing restrictions.

Steps to get it done:

  • Repairing winter damage to outfield
  • painting brick storage hut white to add to sight-screen improvements
  • prepare the cricket square ready for the playing cricket
