By Morton Village Hall management committee
The project is aimed at improving the village hall in Morton. Originally built in 1680 the project is to build a side extension to house a kitchen and install disabled access and toilets.

The current hall has no disabled access or disabled toilets, no storage and a very poor kitchen area. It only has one main room and no separate meeting room. Social isolation and physical well being have been identified as issues within the village and the planned improvements to the hall will enable new events to be introduced including a luncheon club and youth club.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
social isolation and well being have been indentified within the village has main issues which need to be adressed. By improving disabled access and the kitchen it will be possible to introduce a regular luncheon club. The upgrades will also encourage new courses aimed at wider range of villagers thereby helping to reduce isolation. This will include a new youth club for younger villagers.
